Hi,
Thanks for your post.
From the description, I understand your issue to be: you receive the
following event error in the application event logs.
"Faulting application mssbsssr.exe, version 5.2.2651.0, faulting module
msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.3790.0, fault address 0x0003113b."
Regarding this issue, please help to gather the following information:
A.
Since there is some third-party software installed on the SBS
server, although the problem cannot be reproduced on the other server box,
it's still recommended to temporarily stop the third-party services to see
if the problem will still occur.
1.
Start-->Run-->msconfig
2.
In the "Services" tab, uncheck all non-Microsoft services.
3.
In the "Startup" tab, uncheck all startup items.
4.
Close the msconfig and reboot the computer.
B.
Reinstall the Monitoring component just from the ''SBS integrated
setup''(without reinstalling MSDE instance) to ensure every component is
correct.
1.
In Add or Remove Programs, select Windows Small Business Server
2003 andthen click Change/Remove. The Setup Wizard appears.
2.
Click Next.
3.
On the Windows Configuration page, click Next.
4.
On the Component Selection page, in the Action column, change
ServerTools to Maintenance, change Monitoring component to Reinstall, and
then click Next.
5.
On the Logon Information page, click Next.
6.
On the Component Summary page, click Next.
7.
Click Finish.
