Dr. Joel Nägerl received his PhD in natural sciences and is a
qualified European and German Patent Attorney. He studied
physics and mathematics at the University of Göttingen and
physics at the University of California, San Diego. For his PhD
he worked on issues in the area of semiconductor physics and
semiconductor optics. During his time at the university Joel
Nägerl received a scholarship from the “Studienstiftung des
deutschen Volkes” (German National Foundation, sponsoring
the highly gifted). He worked in the firms Bardehle
(Düsseldorf) and KNH (in Düsseldorf and Munich) and is now
partnered at Zimmermann (Munich). He specializes in the
areas electrical engineering, telecommunication and
semiconductor technology and devotes his time to national or
international patent litigation disputes.
