How Waldorf Education provides a curriculum that can be a better and more stable health for later in life? The knowledge of the 12 senses is necessary in order to understand the psychological problems of human and how one can help. The curriculum of the Waldorf schools is following the developmental needs of the human being and the 12 senses this will be the main content of this lecture. When 12 senses are nourished and well developed , the child can thrive physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, enabling them to find freedom in learning, purpose in life, healthy self-awareness, concern for others and respect for the world. This gives the child’s readiness, confidence , flexibility to meet the demanding world The Waldorf/Steiner education has a curriculum which includes artistic activities right from Kindergarten up to grade 12 and is focusing on the competences that are needed to face the demands of a globalized economy in the 21st century. The Trainer: Horst Hellmann Born in 1943 in Germany. Horst Hellmann has spent over 30 years teaching in Steiner schools. Since 1982 he has been conducting seminars to train Waldorf teachers, in Australia, India, Taiwan, Thailand and Philippines such as Iloilo in 2005. He was involved in setting up 14 schools/initiatives across Australia and Asia. Presently, he is setting up a Waldorf-inspired School in Davao, Tuburan Institute, and Dulyapat in Khonkaen, Thailand. He is currently also a Mentor for Waldorf Primary Programme Singapore and Main Trainer for Waldorf Primary Teacher’s Training Modules in Singapore.
