LIVE GOLD. music.lsu.edu #lsumusic artists Professor Emerita, PATRICIA O’NEILL has appeared nationally and internationally in leading operatic and oratorio roles with the Frankfurt Opera, Stuttgart Opera, Utah Opera, Opera Midwest, Baton Rouge Opera, Chicago Symphony, Louisiana Philharmonic, Birmingham Opera, Utah Symphony, Birmingham Opera, Santa Fe Opera, and Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She was recitalist and clinician for vocal master classes and Alexander Technique workshops at universities throughout the world. Prior to LSU, she was Associate Professor of Voice at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. An ATI Certified Teacher of the Alexander Technique, she teaches a class on the Alexander Technique to students in the LSU CMDA. In a career spanning over three decades, pianist WILLIS DELONY has won acclaim as one of the nation’s leading classical/jazz crossover artists. His concert explorations of the jazz and classical piano worlds are showcased in a series of recordings on the Centaur label. The final installment of the series, Out of Character – Classical and Jazz Connections III, was released in October, 2014. Previous album credits include a recording of sonatas by Samuel Barber and Sergei Prokofiev, also on the Centaur label, and a jazz album entitled Civilized Conversations, featuring Delony and bassist Bill Grimes. Dr. Delony has appeared as piano soloist or conductor with American orchestras throughout the United States. As a solo recitalist and jazz performer, he has performed in over 40 states in the U.S., including a recent solo performance at Carnegie Hall, as well as France, Germany, Mexico, China and the former Soviet Union.
