You just follow the yellow signposts and the red-white-red ground markings. The eagle is always there in the form of a sign. Location signposts (white with black lettering) are to be found at the beginning of each stage and provide information on the starting and finishing points, walking time, differences in elevation and level of difficulty. The Eagle Walk normally runs along walking routes (no mountain experience necessary) and along red and black mountain paths. Red is the intermediate level, possibly with frequent, steep, short, secured walking and climbing sections. The black mountain paths require more mountaineering experience, walking knowledge and being comfortable with heights. Difficult passages can be avoided by taking simple detours.
