Championships 2007
Der 127. Neuseelädische National wurde vom
4. bis 8. Juli im Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna,
North Shore, Auckland durchgeführt.
Das Bruce Mason Centre ist am nördlichen
Strand Neuseelands, etwa zehn Kilometer
vom Stadtzentrum Takapuna direkt am
Strand gelegen. Es ist umgeben von ausgezeichneten Restaurants in einer von Touristikunternehmen erschlossenen Gegend.
In der ganzen Stadt Takapuna sind Banner zu sehen, welche auf den musikalischen Grossanlass hinweisen. Das Bruce
Mason Centre Auditorium verfügt über eine ansprechende Akustik und bietet 1’164
Sitzplätze. Es ist einer der beliebtesten Säle
für die verschiedensten Anlässe in ganz
Neuseeland.
Band Wettbewerb
Die Bands spielten am Freitag, 6. Juli ihr
Teststück und einen Choral und am Samstag, 7. Juli das Selbstwahlstück. Das Total
der erreichten Punktzahl bestimmt den
Rang.
Folgende Bands siegten in ihrer Klasse:
A Grade: Brisbane Excelsior, Australien (Howard Taylor). Jury: Nigel Boddice.

Moment.
