“Thin Client” – ein Gerät ohne bewegliche Bauteile (z.B.
Festplatte oder Lüfter)
Keine lokalen Anwendungen, mit Ausnahme eines Browsers für
den Internetzugang
Das WBT wird an ein Firmennetz angeschlossen (WinNT oder
Unix), alle Anwendungen und Daten werden auf dem Server
ausgeführt und gespeichert.
Das Betriebssystem des Terminals ist ohne Bedeutung, da
keine Anwendungen auf dem Terminal laufen.
Citrix und Microsoft Protokolle werden vollständig unterstützt.
