Honda Center stands as one of the premier entertainment and sports venues in the
country, welcoming an average of 1.5 million guests annually. Home to the National
Hockey League’s Anaheim Ducks, the facility opened its doors in 1993.
Honda Center, ranked 4th in the country (12th in the world) on Billboard Magazine’s
2010 Top Venue Touring Chart, is a seven-time finalist for “Venue of the Year” in the
United States (Pollstar Magazine). Over the past 12 months Honda Center has hosted
nearly 140 events including 22 concerts and more than half of the 2010 top 20
North American Concert Tours (Pollstar Magazine). Some of the top performers and
acts have included Lady Gaga, Michael Bublé, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Rihanna,
Metallica, Usher, Roger Waters, Andrea Bocelli, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey
Circus, Cirque du Soleil, Disney on Ice, Harlem Globetrotters and more.
In addition to the Ducks, Honda Center regularly hosts a number of sports events such
as the NCAA Basketball Tournament, Top Rank Boxing, UFC, Pro Bull Riders (PBR),
WWE, the men’s and women’s Big West Conference Basketball Tournament, John
Wooden Classic and pre-season Lakers games.
ANAHEIM DUCKS
The Anaheim Ducks recently completed their 19th NHL season. The club was born
in 1992 and played its first-ever game on Oct. 8, 1993 at Honda Center (then
Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim). One of 30 NHL franchises located throughout the
United States and Canada, the Ducks have played to over 90% capacity crowds
in their history at the 17,174-seat Honda Center. On June 20, 2005, the Ducks
franchise was purchased by Orange County residents Henry and Susan Samueli. By
securing the first Stanley Cup championship in franchise history in 2007, the club also
became the first team from California to win hockey’s ultimate prize. The Ducks have
been to the Conference Finals three times (2003, 2006 & 2007) and been to the
Stanley Cup Final twice (2003 & 2007).

TRANSFORMING HONDA CENTER
One of the most exciting additions to Honda Center is our new, state-of-the-art digital content
delivery system, StadiumVision. The Ducks and Honda Center are the first team and arena
on the West Coast, and the 2nd in the NHL, to have a fully implemented integrated CISCO
system throughout the entire building.
Designed to enhance and transform the guest experience, StadiumVision is a fully integrated
marketing solution that displays video and digital content throughout the facility in an easyto-customize format. This marketing and advertising system is currently in use at some of
the most high profile stadiums and arenas in North America, including MetLife Stadium,
Cowboys Stadium, Yankee Stadium, CONSOL Energy Center…and, now Honda Center!
