In July 2008, Oliver Tabino and Kerstin Klär
founded their own full service agency Q |
Agentur für Forschung GmbH, and Oliver
Tabino has been managing director of this full service provider of qualitative
and quantitative market research and marketing consulting as of then. His areas
of expertise are the refinement of qualitative-psychological and creative
methods of marketing and social research as well as the design and realization
of innovation and creativity processes. Due to his additional qualifications, the
conceptual design and the implementation of counseling procedures constitute a
specialty of his work as market researcher and marketing consultant. In 1998,
Oliver Tabino started working with Sinus Sociovision as student trainee; after
completing his studies at university in 2000, he received a permanent contract
with the company. In his capacity as Senior Research & Consultant, he worked
with clients from the sectors “IT & Telco”, “Food & Drink”, “Media”, “Social &
Institutions” as well as from the interbranch luxury sector, and Oliver Tabino was
in charge of the Image Documentation Center of Sinus Sociovision's „Visual
Sociology & Everyday Life Esthetics‟ division.)
Oliver Tabino is a social media research specialist. He adapted and established
the linkfluence approach in Germany.
In addition to his principal occupation as managing director and researcher,
Oliver Tabino has been a lecturer in sociology in adult education (currently:
Domus Therapiae School for Occupational Therapists in Heidelberg), and he will
teach “Ethnological Methods in Market Research” at the Ruprecht-Karls University
in Heidelberg (Institute of Ethnology) during summer term 2009.

Education:
Oliver Tabino studied sociology and political science at the University of
Heidelberg (D) and the University of Leicester (GB) (degree: Master of Arts). He
is a NLP Business Master Practitioner (DVNLP), and he received a degree in
management from the Hamburg Academy (Open University) in July 2008. While
working full-time, Oliver Tabino pursued advanced training courses dealing with
the following topics: creativity, the art of perception, handling of groups and
group dynamics, handling of interruptions and objections, exploration techniques
for in-depth interviews as well as handling and application of means and media.
Oliver Tabino is member of the BVM (Professional Organization of German
Social and Market Researchers, registered association) and Esomar.
