Die Handhabung von Petrischalen und Abklatschplatten* ist für geschultes Personal einfach und gehört zur täglichen Routine. Nichtsdestotrotz
werden die Schalen zu nehmend vor Ort eingesetzt und mussen daher
transportiert werden. Bis heute sind primitive Drahtgestelle oder selbst
gebastelte Transportbehälter im Einsatz. Die Aufbewahrung und der
Transport der Petrischalen bzw. RODAC-Platten im PSD-10 verhindert
das Abfallen der Schalen-Deckel und schützt somit die Umwelt vor gefährlichen Keimen bzw. die Schalen vor Sekundärkontaminationen. Die
Petrischalen bzw. RODAC-Platten verbleiben während der Bebrütung im
PSD-10 Behälter . Dies erhöht zusätzlich die Sicherheit beim Manipulieren der Schalen im Brutschrank.*Für den Gebrauch von RODAC-Schalen
(Abklatschplatten) wird ein spezieller RODAC-Adapter verwendet.
The handling of Petri dishes and contact plates (RODAC-plates*) is daily
routine for laboratory staff. More and more the plates are used locally
and must therefore be transported. Up to now primitive wire sy-stems or
self-made transport containers have been in use. Using PSD-10 safety
containers prevents the lid from falling off the plates and thus protects
the staff and the environment from toxic microorganisms and secondary
contamination. Petri dishes and RODAC plates remain in the PSD-10
during incubation. This again increases handling safety of the plates in
the incubator. *For using RODAC plates with the PSD-10, a special
RODAC adapter must be employed

Funktionsprinzip
Der PSD-10 wurde auf die höchsten Sicherheitsbedürfnisse der Kunden abgestimmt. Jede Petrischale ist in einem eigenen Behälter eingefügt. Der Petrischalen
Deckel wird dabei fest auf die Bodenplatte gedrückt, was ein Abfallen des Deckels
unmöglich macht. Durch Drücken auf die farbigen Clips wird die Petrischale aus
dem Behälter herausgeschoben und kann problemlos mit der Hand herausgenommen werden.

The PSD-10 is used in all microbiological laboratories. It serves to prevent
accidental falling off of the lids and protects the user and the environment from
microorganisms and toxic and dangerous contamination. It is simply the safest
way to transport Petri dishes and RODAC plates.
Functional principle
The PSD-10 has been designed to fulfill the highest safety needs of the customers.
Each Petri dish is individually packed in a container. The lid of the dish is pressed
against the bottom part and thus it is impossible that the lid can fall off.
By pressing on the colour clip, the plate can easily be removed by hand.
