Born in Alsasua-Navarra, Spain. He studied in Basque Country University in Bilbao, where he received his B.F.A. He then spent two years in Toronto-Canada with
a grant to continue education. After that he moved 1991 to New York City with a
grant from Basque Country where is living and sharing place with Bilbao. 2001 he
was awarded a grant from Marcelino Botin Foundation for a ISCP residential program NY and CADA at the New York University. 2005 grant from Bilboarte Fundation. 2006 grant from Arte y Derecho, Madrid and Gure Artea award, Basque
Country. 2007 artist residential at FAAP, Sao Paulo, Brasil, where he showed at
File Festival, Sao Paulo. Recent exhibitions: 2012 "Celloids 1993–1996", BizBAK,
