The ibis family network consists of 1871

The ibis budget network has expanded rapidly worldwide and
at June 30 th , 2015 it totaled 541 hotels and 51 671 rooms in
17 countries.
In Europe, the brand is the uncontested leader in the budget hotel segment with a network
in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland,
Portugal, United Kingdom and Switzerland.
In France, the ibis budget network consists of 325 hotels and 25 138 rooms.

OPENINGS
14 new hotels were added the ibis budget network in 2015.
The brand is also expanding in new countries like Brazil,
Indonesia and will soon start operating in Russia, Chile and
Uruguay (in 2016).
DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES: MORE THAN 630
HOTELS IN 2018
The brand’s development strategy focuses on reinforcing the
network in mature markets in Europe: France, Germany, Spain
and the United Kingdom. The brand intends to have a
worldwide network of more than 630 hotels with 75,000
rooms by 2018.
It also relies on development in new countries, for example in
Chile, Uruguay, Indonesia and Malaysia. Ibis budget always
chooses locations that are very visible and easily accessible:
along major roads, near airports and in large cities.

A FRIENDLY, DESIGNER ATMOSPHERE
The reception, breakfast room and snack corner are all in close proximity and guests can
therefore circulate more easily and intuitively.
The interior design communicates with the customer providing direction markers in a lighthearted, good-natured way. The color schemes and display boards on the walls vary and
create contrasts, to avoid any sense of monotony.
THE BREAKFAST ROOM features large communal tables, comfortable chairs with
alternating high and low seating.
The room is cleverly lit and equipped with a flat-screen television. Guests can enjoy
entertainment as well as a tasty, varied all-you-can-eat buffet.
In this multi-functional common area, ibis budget’s guests can chat with each other or with
the reception teams. They can also eat, relax in front of their favorite programs rebroadcasted on television or browse the web. These new common areas are the perfect

the premises who can be called at any time via a dedicated intercom at the hotel entrance

The brand offers a special rate all year round: the “ADVANCE SAVER” rate. These
bookings cannot be cancelled or changed, but users benefit from a discount of up to 15%

SAVER” offer is available exclusively on the brand website and on accorhotels.com and is
prepaid online.
