Educational Objectives:
At the end of the program, the attendees would have received an up to date review of the management of
prostate diseases and would be able to:
1. Understand the magnitude of the problem and pathophysiological basis of LUTS, CPPS and prostate
cancer.
2. Learn about the pharmacological and surgical treatment of BPH.
3. Understand the multidisciplinary nature of prostate cancer management, and be able to assess
patients with high PSA, and consider appropriate management strategies
4. Learn about the different therapeutic treatments depending of Prostate cancer stage.
5. Learn about the potential complications of prostate cancer treatment and how to manage it.
