Let’s Twist Again - Thursday Class A
Create pinwheels that are fun, fast, and easy. Piece squares
together and then re-cut them using the “Twister” tool to form
pinwheels. In class you may make a full size quilt (using the
large twister tool) or any of the following wall hangings (using
the Lil’ Twister ruler): Garden Twist (flowers for spring), a table
runner (for any season), Christmas wreath, Christmas tree,
Valentine heart, pumpkin, snowman, or any other design of
your choice. Must pre-purchase pattern and make the cut-up
quilt first.
X’s and O’s A Square-agonals® Design - Thursday Class B
Learn the Square-agonals® technique by constructing this colorful table runner without cutting any setting or corner triangles,
complicated math calculations, or sewing in diagonal rows.
You will be amazed at how easy this quilt can be done. Table
runner is 25”x59”. Please precut and labels all fabric and bring
any leftover fabric to class with you.

Thread University - Thursday Class D
Do you ever feel intimidated by your sewing machine? Wanted to try all
of those “cool” specialty threads, but weren’t sure exactly how to make
them work? Here’s your chance to become the boss of your machine!
We’ll talk about the main categories of threads (cottons, polyesters,
metallic, holographic threads, yarns and bobbin work) and after talking
about each category, you’ll go to your machine and test them out. The
instructor will provide all threads, needles, and a practice canvas for you
to sew. You‘ll learn how to find the perfect tension for each thread… and
how to adjust your tension. This is also a great opportunity to work with
decorative stitches… bring an adjustable bobbin case if you have one
(but don’t worry if you don’t).
Kit fee of $10 to cover the cost of materials.

Mosaic Stained Glass Appliqué - Class 2
We all love stained glass – it is rich, regal, and elegant. For those of us
who use fabric as our art medium, we have searched and experimented
to produce the same look and effect in our artwork. How to get the lovely effects with much less time and effort? Yes! Let’s skip all the fuss and
bother! We can simply appliqué the lovely “glass” directly to the leading
fabric and it’s fabulous, fun, and fast! No bias, no turning, no worries!
