Come Knit with Jane
Come knit with Jane: Wednesday evening March 12th, 26th, & April 16th from 5:307:00. Tuesday afternoon: March 18th, April 8th & 22nd from 2-4. Jane will be in the
shop to help you with basic knitting, crochet, and any current project. Enjoy the
warm and friendly atmosphere while getting advice from the expert. No Fee.
Light Flurries Scarf: Wednesday, March 12th, from 2:30-4:30. Sample is made with
“Vail” a baby alpaca and bamboo yarn. This soft and drapey lace scarf is worked in
2 halves. Two hanks of Vail will leave ample yarn to work an extra repeat on each
half if a longer scarf is desired. Class fee is $12.00 plus materials purchased at TNE.

Sock of the Month: Tuesday, March 18th from 1:00–2:00. Felted slippers-“Duffers”.
Knitted on straight needles with only one seam down the back and along the bottom. These slippers are so easy and straightforward to make. Class fee is $10.00 plus
materials purchased at TNE. Instructor Jane.
Basic Sock—Beginners -Three sessions, Saturday April 12th, May 3rd, & 17 from
10:30-12:00. Learn the basic to making socks from using multiple needles, how to
measure a foot, turn a heel, ribbing and so much more. Class fee $30.00 for all three
sessions. Instructor Jane.
Etheral Scarf: Saturday, April 12th & May 3rd from 1:00-2:00. Silky Alpaca Lace is a
beautiful blend of fibers that is spun into a gossamer yarn that will knit into this
amazing lightweight scarf. Perfect accessories for the summer weddings to come.

Mug Rug Social
Fractured 9 Quilt
Patchwork Pillow
Mug Rug: Saturday, March 1st, & April 5th from 10:30-11:30. Mug rugs are extra
large drink coasters or smaller versions of placemats that are fun to create, a mini
quilt, to hold a cup of tea or coffee with a treat. Join other fiber-enthusiasts to chat
over a mug of tea or coffee and a snack while learning, via a demonstration, a new
sewing technique and maybe win a prize, too! There is no charge to attend but space
is limited, so please RSVP.
Sweet Charmers If you enjoy the use of jelly rolls, charm packs, and mini-charms,
then consider joining us in a social afternoon devoted to the use of these wonderful
products. The plan is to meet once a month for three to four hours of learning, sewing, and snacks. Mentoring will take place on a shared basis, but is not a requirement
to participate. Each afternoon will feature a project using our expanding line of precuts along with an appropriate technique and sometimes a commercial pattern guided by a member of the group. The cost is $5.00 to be given directly to the mentor.
Participation will be on a first serve basis. Call to reserve your space. If you are ever
unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible so that someone else can have
your spot. Join us Thursday, March 13th & April 10th from 1:00-4:00. for “Fractured 9”
mentor by Ruth. Make a disappearing nine patch quilt using two charm packs and
one yard of solid color fabric for the center. This easy quilt is perfect for quilters of all
skill levels, including beginners.
Beginner Patchwork Pillow: Wednesday, March 26th from 1:00-4:00. Create this
patchwork pillow using Ruth’s easy tips for perfect corners every time. For a finished
touch, Yo-yo flowers will be added. Class fee is $15.00. Instructor Ruth.
Stack N Whack Table Runner: Thursday, March 27th from 12:30-3:30. Easy to do
yielding elaborate results. Cut layers of one large print to make hexagons for a table
runner. Learn tips for joining multiple seams with flat results. Class Fee $15.00.

Free Motion and Line Quilting Class: Saturday, April 5th from 1:00-2:30. Bring your
machine and a small quilt layered sample to practice various quilting techniques with
your home machine. Class Fee $12.00 Instructor Nancy
Split Personality Reversible Bag: Wednesday, April 9th from 12:00-4:00. Use an unexpected combination of colors and prints on one side for a bold look and a subtle mix
of fabric on the other side for a more sedate look. Simply flip the bag inside out when

Couch Caddy: Thursday, April 24th from 1:00-3:30. This handy little caddy is just the
thing to keep everything nearby. It fits over the arm of your couch or chair and has
