Featured Artist for 2013
Carl & Susan Valenti of Terramore’
FREE Trolley will run
Friday Night
5 to 10 pm
See them at The Villager
429 E. Grand Ave.
& will stop at most
intersections every 15 minutes
Terramore’ began about nine years ago when Carl &
Susan Valenti decided to do what they really loved. Both
cancer survivors (Carl with leukemia, Susan with breast
cancer), they began creating wearable art from
32
18
25
recycled metals, electronic components & natural earth
stones, as Susan was a master beader with a talent for
17
assembling unique & aesthetic works. Aside from the
31
metal work & patinas, Carl collects discarded wood
14
from downed trees & scrap piles & creates
otherworldly critters & avian abodes.
Examples can be seen at The Villager Gallery & The
Longbranch Gallery in Mineral Point.
Part of the proceeds are donated to The Komen
Society for breast cancer research, & The Lymphoma
& Leukemia Society.
