Disconnect the Vehicle’s Connectors. p. Remove the Glove Box Lamp. q. Remove the Glove Box. Fig. 2-1 <4 ==7 4 a. Attach the RES ECU Bracket to the RES ECU as shown. Install the RES ECU using the supplied Nut. ;,= Make sure the Guide Pin is seated correctly and Verify that the Nut is tightened securely. Connect the V4 White 8P Connector to the Vehicle’s 8P Pre-Connector. c. Side Cutters Fig. 3-3 2 Secure the V4 Harness and the 8P Connectors to the Vehicle Harness using 1 Wire Tie. d. Secure the V4 Harness White Tape Marker to the Vehicle Harness using 1 Wire Tie. 3 f. Fig. 3-5 Route the V4 Harness toward the Passenger’s Side Cowl area. g. Secure the V4 Harness to the HVAC Wire Hooks along with the Vehicle Harness. Side Cutters Fig. 3-6 h. Secure the V4 Harness to the Vehicle Harness using 1 Wire Tie. Place Wire Tie near the Vehicle =< Rotate the Ratchet End of the Wire Tie as shown. i. 4 Secure the V4 Harness to the Vehicle Harness using 1 Wire Tie. Secure the V4 Harness to the Vehicle Harness using 1 Wire Tie. k. Secure the V4 Harness to the Vehicle Harness using 1 Wire Tie. Close all doors. z e. Place the Vehicle in Park (P) or Neutral (N) position. f. 5 X OFF ACC :=<@]&\Q /&&& times. ;,= One cycle consists of: !==& This is equivalent to pressing <@]&\Q/& 14 times. With the Smart Key in your possession, press the @]&\Q/& twice to select the Ignition @Q\&& k.
