Danbom has been in the Dock business for over 40 years. We are the longest
running full service lake business in the Okoboji area.
Danbom’s first boat hoist was manufactured in 1969. After that, we manufactured many different models of boat hoists, including the world’s first and largest portable freestanding boat hoists. Other industry firsts include the first
deep keel sailboat hoists, portable freestanding saltwater lifts, and many others. With all of these establishments, we continue to raise the bar for competition and guarantee long lasting products with our Blue Water Boat Hoists.
Some of the benefits with Blue Water Hoists include the use of our
cantilever, instead of a vertical, lifting system. Blue Water Hoists drop back to
deeper water and do not use complicated cabling systems. We believe in simplicity; low maintenance hoists keep your costs at a minimum.
When ordering a boat hoist from Blue Water Hoists, many options are
available. Galvanizing provides rust proof top frames, which is done on every
model. Completely galvanized hoists are available, as well as painted.
Canopy options, such as length, width, and color are also available. For

Blue Water Hoists also feature our superior carpeted bunk systems to properly
support your boat when it’s not in use. A great alternative replacing the foam
centering devices and wooden cradle brackets. Both systems are currently
still available.
