Page 3 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 3: Slide in one jump ring to the wire & wrap again through the ring about 6 rounds. Step 4: Continue wrapping around the 3 wire pieces after attaching the ring. You have now created a bail. Page 4 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 5: Cut excess wire with wire cutter. Step 6: Now, lay your gemstone and try to bezel, following the gemstone’s shape. Page 5 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 7: Separate the outer wires and bed them going to the middle of the gemstone, creating a circle or big loop at the center like shown in this picture. Step 8: Continue bending the outer wires following the shape of the gemstone, until the wires meet on one side of the gemstone like shown in this picture. Page 6 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 9: Take away the gemstone for awhile. Use the 0.5 mm (28 ga) wire to wrap the part of the wire where they meet. Create a loop at the end of the wire with your round nose pliers. Note: Test your gemstone if it’s snugly fitted inside the bezel. Make necessary adjustments and re-shape the wire if needed. Page 7 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 10: Cross the outer wires and try to separate them. Again, use the 0.5 mm (28 ga) wire to wrap the wires together like shown in this picture. Page 8 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 11: Settle the gemstone and press the front & back wire groups to hold the gemstone well. Step 12: Now, play with the wires and shape them using your round and/or flat nose pliers to hold the gemstone. In this tutorial, we created a bow-like shape with the back wire group going to the front of the gemstone to brace it. Page 9 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 13: Flip the gemstone and do the same for the other side. Page 10 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 14: Cut 4 pieces of chains in different sizes you prefer. Step 15: Using your head pins, insert your small gemstone and create a loop at the other end. Page 11 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 16: Attach a chain on each piece by slightly opening the loop from the head pin. Step 17: Open the jump ring you’ve attached on Step 5. Page 12 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 18: Attach the 4 chains with small gemstones into the opened jump ring. You now have a pendant with 4 dangling gemstones. Page 13 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 19: Cut a 20 cm chain and attach an eye pin on one end. Step 20: Side in 3 gemstones. Page 14 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 21: Create a loop at the end with your round nose pliers. Step 22: Use a jump ring and attach the pendant. Attach another jump ring on the other side of the pendant. Page 15 www.handmade-jewelry-club.com www.diylessons.org Step 23: Attach the hook at the other end of the chain.
