BSI Cosmetic Ingredients
About the Ingredients:
Rice Starch: Has great absorption properties. Ideal for use in dry shampoo to absorb sebum, and add volume
Calcined Kaolin Clay 2474: Kaolin that offers excellent oil absorbing properties.
Chocolate Colored Clay: This natural colored clay absorbs oil while giving the finished product a slight brown tint.
HDK® N20: Is an outstanding free-flow aid. Even small amounts are enough to significantly improve the flow properties of powders. When mixed with the powder,
Wacker HDK® N 20 fumed Silica accumulates on the surface of the solid particles,
thus separating particles and allowing free flow.
Cloisonné ® Pigments: Cloisonné effect enhancing pigments impart dramatic color
and varied pearlescent effects to many types of cosmetics and personal care products. They are available in a variety of grades that provide different degrees of luster, ranging from a soft, satiny look to high sparkle.
Timica®: These pigments impart shimmering effects, both as white pigments, and in
a range of earth tone and “Metallic” colors. They vary in luster from silky and smooth
to sparkling. There are also a number of Timica Nu-Antique grades that produce an
antiqued pearlescent effect.
