Children cannot recognize the dangers involved in the incorrect use of electrical appliances. Therefore never allow children to use household appliances without supervision. 2. Hair lacquers and fixing sprays contain flammable material. Do not spray while using the appliance. 3. Never use the cable to carry the appliance. Special Attention The appliances are designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When plugged in and operation for first time, there may be a little momentary smoking while this coating is initially heated. This represents no danger to the user and does not indicate a defect in your products. When using for the first time, allow it to continue running until the smoke dissipates. This should last only about 30 seconds. How to Use (A) Pegasus Curler 1. Preheat the curling iron by resting the curling iron (use the heel rest) on a smooth flat surface and plug into a 220 volt AC outlet. (About five minutes). 2. Hair should be clean and dry and free from all dirt, hair spray, etc. before using the product. If you normally set your hair with curlers, section the hair in same pattern. Start by sectioning hair into strands of no more than 1 inch deep and 2 inches wide. 3. Keep your hair smooth by brushing or combining through the section while holding the ends tout with on hand. 4. Place the ends of each hair selection over the rod, with the clamp open, close the clamp, making sure that the hair ends extend just beyond the clamp. 5. Grasp the cool tip with other hand. 6. Keep the section of hair taut, while you wind it around he heating rod by turning the handle with one hand and cool tip with the other. 7. Wind the curl toward your scalp as far as you can go without touching the scalp with the hot iron. 8. Hold the curl in place for up to 20 seconds for tight curls, less time for loose curls. Unwind about half a turn, when ready to release the hair. For long hair unwind a little further push the clamp release bar to open the clamp and withdraw the heating rod from the center of the curl. 9. For bouncy, flip-up styles, the clamp should be over and the rod under the section of hair. Note : The curler will heat to a temperature designed for normal hair. When curling hair that is tined, bleached or damaged, the iron should be held in the hair for a shorter length of time. 5 (B) Pegasus Straightener 1. Connect to the power supply. 2. Push the switch to “ON”position. You can use the appliance when it get to the temperature you prefer. 3. For complete styling, hair should be clean, dry and free from dirt, hair spray and cream etc. 4. Dry your hair with a hairdryer until it's completely dry before you use the Straightener. 5. Open the plates and spread the 5cm hair section between the plates ad press. 6. Do not touch the hot plates, Press and slide the appliance from the scalp towards the ends slowly. Repeat if necessary. 7. Allow hair Straightener to cool off. Important : Keep the heated parts away from scalp, face, neck and hands to avoid injuries Cleaning and Care 1. It is essential to keep the safety instructions. 2. Clean the outer surfaces using a soft, damp cloth and a gentle cleaner. 3. Never use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects (e.g. steel wool) 4. Do not wind the power cord around the appliance. 5. Never store the appliances in hot condition. 6. Do not allow water or any other liquid to go into handle of the iron. Instructions on Environment Protection Do not dispose of this product in the usual household garbage at the end of its life cycle; hand it over at a collection point for the recycling of electric appliances.
