QUALITY TESTING:
Our laminated countertops have
to cope with hot pans (180°C),
and shrug off spilled wine, oil and
hot drinks. We also make sure
that edges and glue-lines can
withstand steam without lifting.

and water. That way we avoid

There is a wide choice of colours and patterns among both
the solid wood countertops and those in a laminate finish.
NUMERÄR, PRONOMEN and PRÄGEL countertops come in
standard lengths. PERSONLIG countertops are made-to-measure
to your requirements.
If you choose the made-to-measure alternative, you can also
choose the shape of the edge and edging strip, from a selection
of materials like laminated, wood, acrylic, granite and quartz.
you wash a lot of dishes by hand, as it helps to keep water off
the countertop. You can also choose single and double sinks in
white porcelain. Last, but not least, make sure the sink fits in the
base cabinet underneath.
Choose a sink – with one, one and a half or two bowls in
stainless steel. There are different sizes, with or without a
drainer. A large sinktop with a drainer is for example useful if

BEHANDLA wood treatment oil prolongs the life of your
countertop and gives the surface a beautiful sheen. This wood
oil is specially approved for contact with food. Treat countertops
three to five times a year. A 750 ml. can contains sufficient oil to
treat 10–12 m2 (107.6-129.2 sq.ft.). 500.703.78 $9.99
Wood is a natural, living material that adds a warm, welcoming
feel to a kitchen. Wood will last for many years provided that
it is oiled regularly. Oiling protects the countertop from marks,
cracks and stains, and prevents water from penetrating the
surface and damaging the wood fibres.
After mounting use fine sandpaper to sand the top and treat
it with the wood treatment oil BEHANDLA. Even though the

Laminated countertops are available in a choice of different
colours and patterns. Laminates are resistant to chemicals,
liquids, scratches and even heat (up to 180ºC). These countertops
are therefore extremely practical to use and very easy to clean.

The surface always looks the same, which is good to know if
you want several countertops in your kitchen. Even though the
worktops are very durable we still recomend that you use a pot
stand when you place hot pots directly on them.

If you choose a stone countertop you’ll get a work surface that’s
extremely durable, scratch resistant and able to withstand high
temperatures. The top layer of a quartz countertop is a moulded
composite stone powder. This makes the surface, unlike a solid
stone countertop, non-porous, smooth and easy to keep clean.
It’s also stain resistant, and doesn’t require any impregnation.
