The use of wood, glass, stone, concrete, metal, natural fibers and earth-tone colors reflect Ummelina's philosophy nature combined of with the latest spa technologies. Custom fixturing with built-in vitrines, adjustable glass shelving, stained existing concrete and polished terrazzo floors are some of the reclaimed uses and economic of materials. on salvaged "Petroglyphs" teak doors symbolize the nature-inspired environment in each room. "The Desert;' a sauna and body treatment area, uses reclaimed cedar timbers, desert sand slate floor and alabaster accent lighting to create a unique dry sauna experience. "The Rainforest" features dark green slate flooring and green accent tiles to represent an abstract forest environment.
