Spring’s right around the corner, bringing with it the
potential for a fresh new look for your business. Talk with
your sales representative about ways you can enhance your
store’s curb appeal and Lottery appearance both inside and
out. Take a look at some of the Lottery’s most recent retailer makeovers. It’s a
great time to get inspired.
This month, we have some fresh new games and favorite promotions for Lottery
customers and retailers. Be sure to check out EZPLAY® Quick Spot, which goes
on sale March 20. Talk to your sales representative and bring your team together
to discuss the latest game to join the Lottery’s lineup of progressive EZPLAY®
games.
Here’s the twist: Quick Spot can be played for $1, $5 or $10. All Quick Spot
wagers help the jackpot grow, with the jackpot-winning ticket earning all or a
percentage of the jackpot based on the price point chosen. If your customers like
progressive games, they’ll want to check out Quick Spot.
March would not be complete without the Ohio Lottery’s Keno Mania Free Three
promotion to compliment college basketball tournament season. Keno Mania
offers free 3-spot play with a $20 Keno purchase during college basketball
tournament game days in March and April. Get the details on page 10 and post
the news for your players. It’s time for customers to root on their favorite team
and enjoy some Keno fun!
We’re feeling great with all of Ohio’s recent winners in Lucky for Life™. Ohio
celebrated its first $1,000-a-day-for-life top prize with a winning ticket
sold at Lakeside Plaza in London. That big win on Feb. 15 followed three
$25,000-a-year-for-life prizes sold in Cleveland, Cleveland Heights and Perrysburg
these past few months. Help us celebrate these wins and post the news in your
store.
There’s another exciting change coming for Lucky for Life too. The game will
soon be joining Bundle Play, giving customers a chance to try Lucky for Life
alongside the Lottery’s most popular jackpot games. It’s even easier on the
pocket book too – costing $5 for $6 worth of top game wagers. See page 7 to
learn more. The new Bundle Play value pack is scheduled to begin next month.

Quick Spot: A new
style of EZPLAY®
progressive games
Coming March 20
EZPLAY® Quick Spot builds on the popular progressive jackpot-style games offered
by the Ohio Lottery, but with a twist. A Quick Spot wager can be purchased for $1,
$5 or $10. All wagers made fund the game’s progressive jackpot, which starts at
$10,000 and grows from there. Customers win prizes based on the wager made.
It’s Keno-style play. Match “Your Numbers” to any
of the 20 circled “Quick Spot Numbers.” Check the
prize legend to see how you’ve done. Match 10
numbers and win all or part of the jackpot. There
are other prizes too – with seven ways to win.

Nick Dulach of Brook Park went to get a Red Bull at Smith & Snow Shell and
came back with a $250,000 win playing $5 Cash Extravaganza. Now sons
Nicholas Jr, Mason, Maximus and Braylan will enjoy a trip with dad to Florida.
Nick said he will invest the rest of his winnings. He came with his grandma
Marion to make his claim at the Cleveland regional office.

Michael Brisker of Jackson loves the new Break the Bank instant. He won
a $50,000 prize and said the win is life changing. He is going to pay off his
mortgage and redo his 8th grade daughter’s bedroom.

Talk about a great weekend! Tammy Rieger and Maureen Bair of Stow were out

put a roof on her house and Maureen is planning for an out-of-town family visit.

John Whitt ran to the store on an errand and decided to buy a $2 Doubling Star
Cashword ticket. He won $25,000 and went right to the Toledo regional office to
make a claim. He told Lottery staff “my wife probably is going to wonder where
I went,” as he hadn’t told her to that point. He purchased his winning ticket at
Johnny’s on the Spot #2 in Oregon.

As the college basketball tournament season warms up, it’s time
for the Ohio Lottery’s Keno Mania Free Three promotion. It’s all
happening on men's tournament game days in March and April.
Starting March 17, players who make a $20 single-ticket Keno
purchase receive a $1, 3-spot play good for three consecutive
drawings. The promotion repeats for every $20 increment of Keno
purchased.

Keno Mania runs from noon until midnight on the following
tournament days:
