How to play BLACKJACK This is an optional side bet for Blackjack, and is based on the initial cards dealt to the customer and the dealer, and is fast and easy to play. The Bet is placed prior to the initial deal within the minimum/maximum bet parameters set for the Block bet. This bet must be supported by a regular blackjack bet on the relevant betting box. All wagers on the “block” are paid or taken after completion of the initial deal. There are 4 different types of winning blocks which have the following payout odds: Normal Block One card higher and of the same suit as the dealer’s first card. The payout for this hand is 2 to 1. Flush Block Two cards of the same suit and one or both of the cards are higher and of the suit as the dealer’s first card. The payout is 5 to 1. Pair Block Two cards of the same rank, higher than the dealer’s first card and one must also be of the same suit as the dealer’s first card. The payout is 10 to 1. Ultimate Block Two cards of the same rank higher than the dealer’s first card and are both of the same suit as the dealer’s first card. The payout is 30 to 1. If the customers hand does not fall into any of the above categories, the Block bet loses. The Blackjack game will now continue. A “Blackjack” is an ace and any 10-Value card dealt as the first two cards. Winning Blackjacks are paid at odds of 3 to 2 and beat a score of 21 Made with two or more cards. To play, just place a wager on the betting area and the dealer will then deal two cards face up to each player at the table and one card to the dealer’s hand. Jack, Queen and KIng count as 10, Ace counts as 1 or 11, and the other cards represent their face value. To win at even money odds, the final total of your hand must not exceed 21 and must be higher than the final total of the dealer’s hand. If your hand is equal to the dealer’s hand, it is a stand off. If you believe the dealer’s first card is too strong, then before any more cards are dealt to any of the players, you may choose to “surrender” your hand by forfeiting half your bet and withdrawing from that round of play. If the dealer’s first card is an ace no surrender option will be offered. If the dealer’s first card is an ace, you may make a side bet (only up to half of your original bet) on the “insurance” line before any more cards are dealt to any of the players. At this point should you have a blackjack even money will be available to you. If the dealers second card has any other value than a 10, the insurance bet is forfeited. A blackjack pays a winning insurance bet 2 to 1. Before a second card is dealt to the dealers hand, the dealer will give each player in turn the opportunity to improve their hand. When the dealer gets to you hand you have four choices: DRAW: just tap on the table behind the betting area and say card to receive another card if your total is less than 21. Take as many cards as you like, as long as your hand does not exceed 21. STAND: Just wave your hand from side to side and say “stand” when you want to stand on the cards you have. You can stand on any card total of 21 or under. DOUBLE: You may place another equal bet alongside your original bet and receive one card only. A double may only be performed on two cards to give a total of three cards. SPLIT: If your first two cards have the same value, you may place another equal bet alongside your original bet and the dealer will form two rounds for you. You may also double on any split except aces. Split aces receive only one card on each hand and does not form a “Blackjack”. After all the players have made their decisions, cards are drawn to the dealer’s hand. The dealer’s hand must draw if the total is less than 17, and must stand if the total is 17 or more. If the dealer’s hand exceeds 21, all remaining players win. Enjoy your game! No persons under the age of 18 will be allowed to gamble or gain access to the gaming floor.
