Welcome to our 28th Annual Production Sale. We had a
dry spring that made our grass and hay below average.
But timely rains made the corn crop the best we ever
had, making a lot of silage and earlage.
We are very proud of the bull offering this year. We are
looking forward for current weights and ultrasound data.
Last year’s sale bulls had an average adjusted yearling weight of 1157 lbs and adjusted 365 day
ribeye of 15.3, gaining 601 lbs from adjusted 205 day to 365 day. That is outstanding!
Bulls are fed earlage ground hay silage and a distiller pellet. Bulls will have spring shots with
two rounds of footrot prevention.

It is the great pleasure of the CAS staff to invite you to the 2015 edition of the TB Salers “Beef Business”
Production Sale on March 2nd. This is your chance to make your selections from the Beeson’s herd bull
prospects and top quality replacement heifers. Terry and family have invested years in cultivating their
program to allow you the opportunity to bring home a cornerstone for your herd or a show prospect.
These cattle have been produced from one of the breed’s top cow herds that has been molded to provide
exactly what the customer demands. This has been done through strict selection based on calving ease,
moderate mature frame size, functional soundness and disposition.
The Salers breed was introduced to the United States forty years ago. They were imported to help provide a genetic package that offered calving
ease, fertility, longevity and growth with a very sound foot and leg that will cover large amounts of range. Salers, and this herd in particular
have continuously improved upon these characteristics. As this offering is evaluated, know that they will help you be profitable in the future.
