Included in this Information Package you will find some useful information about:
• how to come to Cordoba, from either Madrid or Sevilla or Malaga or Barcelona
airports.
• how to get the Campus de Rabanales (University) once in Cordoba.
MADRID Æ CORDOBA
I.
You can travel by coach or by train from Madrid to Cordoba.
You will need to go from Madrid “Barajas” Airport to “Atocha” Railway Station
(“Estación de Atocha”) to take a train or to the Southern Coach Station (“Estación Sur
de Autobuses”) if you prefer to travel by coach.
1. FROM MADRID “BARAJAS” AIRPORT TO:
• “ATOCHA” Railway Station
• “ESTACIÓN SUR” Coach Station
There are two main options:
1. By Taxi: This option could be the most convenient for those travelling with
heavy luggage, although it is the most expensive one.

Trip duration: 40-50 minutes (depending on traffic conditions)
Price: 25-35€
Walk outside the airport terminal to the taxi ranks. Do not accept offers from
drivers inside the terminal, since they are often illegal drivers and you will
almost certainly get ripped off. Nevertheless, for avoiding any problems, you
should ask for the taxi bill.
2. Cercanías (short distance train):

Going to “Atocha” Railway Station:

1. From T4: You have to buy the ticket to “Atocha” station
and take the line C1 that stop there. Check timetables in
www.renfe.es/cercanias
2. From T1, T2 or T3: There are free buses to arrive to T4
station and take the Cercanias train to Atocha.

1. From T4: You have to buy the ticket to “Méndez Álvaro”
station and take the line C1 that stop there. Check
timetables in www.renfe.es/cercanias
2. From T1, T2 or T3: There are free buses to arrive to T4
station and take the Cercanias train to “Méndez Álvaro”.
• Trip duration: 30 minutes (Cercanías) Price: 2,15€

2. TRAVELLING TO CORDOBA:
¾ BY TRAIN
Once you have arrived to the “Atocha-Renfe” Metro station or “Atocha” station if you
travelled by train, you must leave the Metro area or Cercanías Area and look for the
ticket office situated in the AVE Area.

SEVILLA Æ CORDOBA
II.
You can travel from Sevilla to Cordoba by coach or by train.
You have to go from Sevilla “San Pablo” Airport to “Santa Justa” Railway Station (to
take a train) or to “El Prado” Bus and Coach Station (to take a coach).
1. FROM SEVILLA “SAN PABLO” AIRPORT TO:
• “SANTA JUSTA” Railway Station
• “EL PRADO” Coach Station
There are different options:

Once you are at “Santa Justa” Railway Station look for the ticket office where you can
buy a ticket to Cordoba.
There are three types of trains you can take: i) Andalucia Expres, ii) ALTA
VELOCIDAD and iii) AVE.

Once you are at “El Prado” Bus Station you have to look for the “Alsina Graells” (name
of the Coaches Company) ticket office, where you can buy the ticket to Cordoba.

III.
MALAGA Æ CORDOBA
You can go from Málaga to Córdoba by coach or by train.
First of all you will need to go from Málaga Airport to Malaga Railway Station “María
Zambrano” (to take a train) or to Málaga Bus Station (to take a coach).

Once there:

If you prefer to travel to Córdoba by train you only have to leave the
“Cercanías” Area and to look for the long-distance trains Area, within
the same railway station.

If you want to go to the Bus Station, you have to leave the Railway
Station and to walk for 5 -10 minutes as showed in the map above.
3. By Bus, Look for the Bus Stop of Bus Line number 19, In the airport

You can travel by coach or by train from Barcelona to Cordoba.
You will need to go from Barcelona “El Prat” Airport to “Barcelona Sants” Railway
Station to take a train or to the Coach Station (“Barcelona Nord”) if you prefer to travel
by coach.

The line you have to take is Line R-10 (marked with brown color) in the direction

“Barcelona Sants”.

WELCOME TO CÓRDOBA!
The Cordoba Central Railway Station is in front of the Bus Station, and at less of 15
minutes walk frown down town, as showed in the map below:

The Master headquarters are located in the “Campus de Rabanales” (University of
Cordoba), only 7km far from City Centre.
You can reach it using public transport:

Note that during September only few trains operate. Please, ask for info at the
Railways Company (“RENFE”) information office.
