Northampton Built in 1838 and set over 120 acres, our St Andrew’s Northampton campus has a rich history and renowned reputation for delivering excellent, innovative mental healthcare for men, women and adolescents with a range of mental illness, learning disabilities and neuro-degenerative disorders. Our National Brain Injury Centre also provides services for those with challenges as a result of a brain injury. By Car By Bus St Andrew’s Northampton is located just east of Northampton town centre. From Junction 15 on the M1, take the A45 towards Northampton town centre and continue for approximately three miles, passing the Queen Eleanor Hotel on your right. Stay on the dual carriageway. At the junction just before the flyover, filter off to the left, following signs to the General Hospital. Take the first left on the roundabout and then take the right hand lane to turn onto Cliftonville at the BMW garage traffic lights. Continue straight up the hill. At the top of the hill turn right at the traffic lights onto the Billing Road. St Andrew’s gates 1, 2 and 3 are on your right hand side along this road. Take the first gate for St Andrew’s Main Reception. Regular bus services run along the Billing Road and Cliftonville. See www.stagecoachbus.com and www.firstgroup.com for timetables. Free car parking is available on site. 2 By Train From London Euston, take the Euston to Birmingham line. Journey time to Northampton Station takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Monday to Saturday trains leave approximately every 30 minutes. Sunday trains leave every hour. Trains to Northampton from Birmingham New Street leave every hour. Journey time takes approximately one hour. A taxi rank is situated outside of the station. To 32A Berkeley Close To Workbridge From the main campus, exit via Gate 4 (see site map on page 5). Turn left, take a right on to The Avenue. Turn right into Berkeley Close. Our unit is at the end of this road. (sat nav NN1 5BJ) Workbridge has its own entrance on the A428 Bedford Road. (sat nav NN4 7AD) To Spring Hill House From the main campus, exit via Gate 4 (see site map on page 5). Turn left, and then right onto The Avenue. Cross over the junction with Cliftonville. Spring Hill House is on the right after the road bends to the right, opposite the General Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Unit. (sat nav NN1 5BE) To Cliftonville House From the main campus, exit via Gate 4 (see site map on page 5). Turn left, and then left again onto The Avenue. At the junction, turn left on to Cliftonville Road. Take 3rd left (opposite BMW garage) into Cliftonville House car park. By Car By Bus From Junction 29 on the M25, continue along the A127 until the A130 junction. Turn back on yourself along the A127 and then left after the Alton Garden Centre but before the small garage (a pub is on the opposite side of the dual carriageway). Turn left into Pound Lane. Note that Pound Lane is only accessible from the east to west lane of the A127. Regular bus services are run by NIBS Buses, please see www.nibsbuses.com for timetables. Route 21 is the only bus that travels to the site. Free car parking is available on site. By Train Take the London (Fenchurch Street) line to Pitsea/Basildon or the London (Liverpool Street) line to Wickford. Journey time approximately 40 minutes. Monday to Saturday trains leave every 20 minutes. Sunday trains leave every 30 minutes. As you reach Selly Oak traffic lights, continue straight down the Bristol Road, past Birmingham University. Turn right following signs into Pebble Mill Road and turn right at the end onto Pershore Road A441. Travel up Pershore Road for approx one mile, turning left at Dogpool Lane. The unit is located on the right. Exit M42 Junction 2, following signs for A441 Pershore Road. Go straight over the roundabout at Kings Norton, till you approach two small roundabouts at Cotteridge. Go straight over the first and turn right at the second roundabout. Continue down Pershore Road through Stirchley for approximately one mile. The unit is located on the right. By Car via M6 Motorway Exit M6 Junction 6, following signs for A38M. Follow A38, travelling through the Queensway tunnels. As you exit the tunnels move into the left hand lane, to turn left at the main traffic lights at Bristol Road. At large roundabout, turn right, taking third exit to the A441 Pershore Road. Travel up Pershore Road going straight over at the traffic lights. Continue approximately one mile, turning left at Dogpool Lane.
