George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation Newsletter | Winter 2009 How to Donate The George Jeffrey Children's Centre has been providing vital services for children with physical and developmental disabilities for more than 60 years. With the miracles of modern medicine, more premature and sick babies are surviving than ever before. The demand is greater and they continue to require our treatment services from birth so that they may learn to crawl, walk and even talk over time. The new Centre has been open for a year, and all our special needs children now have a new, modern, assessment and treatment centre in which to receive the special therapy and assistance that they need. With a brand new facility there are still needs to be addressed, our treatment and communication equipment is outdated and needs to be upgraded to meet the demands of the over one thousand children from our community who need our help. This equipment is vital to the development of the children in these programs. Through your generous donations the George Jeffrey Children's Foundation is able to assist to ensure that every child receives the treatment they deserve. YES!
