Music 111 Music We offer a wide range of part-time, evening and weekend music courses. You can learn to play a variety of instruments, explore jazz, improve your singing or musicianship and develop your production skills in our professionally-equipped music technology studio. Auditions and advice: If your course code is starred (*) you need to attend an informal advice/audition session, or a specialist audition, to make sure the level is right for you. These roles are expanding as the technology itself continues to evolve. Our music production and technology studio is equipped with industry-standard hardware and software suited to these diverse roles. We limit our class size to 10 to ensure every learner gets plenty of individual attention. Most of our software is cross-platform and any difference in Mac and PC systems will be explained. Familiarity with computers will be a distinct advantage and City Lit runs regular introduction to the Mac courses. Students should bring a pair of comfortable headphones although standard headphones will be available for those without their own.
