was really interesting because you track the event that you were looking for…How to extract
this one hour event of the 24hours measurement?

2. Opening your 24hours measurement…

Open dBTRAIT32
Click on File menu and Open
Open the file: TooMuchLongMeasurement.cmg

Click on Display menu and Time History
On the time history display parameters click on OK
Locate the 2 cursors before and after the Event

3. Opening a blank cmg file

We need to open a blank file to copy and paste the EVENT.

Click on the File Menu
Click on New
You have now 2 cmg files opened in dBTRAIT32…we are going to copy the event in the
blank cmg.
4. Copy and Paste

Select the window “Time History 100ms TooMuchLongMeasurement…”
containing the Leq time history
Click on the Edit menu
On the Copy window select Binary and Between Cursors and click on OK

Select the blank cmg file

Click on the Edit menu and Paste

The blank cmg contains the EVENT, click on the Display menu and Time
History
On the time history window parameters click on OK
5. Conclusion
You can now save the cmg containing only the Event.
