A successfully placed direct posterior composite restoration can sometimes be a challenge.
The dentist needs to have a sound understanding of bonding, shade determination and has
to be adept at handling, shaping and polishing the material. Furthermore, when you need to
restore approximal surfaces, achieving an adequate contact area can be difficult.
This lecture and hand-on program will address these issues and equip the dentist with skills to achieve durable and aesthetic results.
The key learning points:

Producing a natural, aesthetic posterior composite

Case selection: when to do direct posterior composites

Choice of composites to use

Shade selection

What instruments make the job easier

Achieving tight contact points

Avoiding post-operative sensitivity

How to save time on fewer occlusal adjustments after completing the restoration
