All rights reserved. 3 Non-Sysco Computer/Non-network Terminology The below table defines terms necessary to perform outlined procedures on accessing SIU via a non-Sysco computer or outside of the Sysco network: Term SIU LMS Network ID/User ID Domain Definition Sysco Interactive University Learning Management System The alpha-numeric combination used to logon to work computer (i.e. tdabc123) Refer to the following to determine your domain: If user is… located in the United States (US) located in Canada (CA) Canadian with network ID tied to Sysco Corporate and uncertain of domain Internet Explorer (IE) Settings Review Then … user domain = NA user domain = CA user to confirm with: Local IT or Sysco Help Desk at 281-584-1190 Perform the following steps to review IE settings for the computer being used: Step 1 2 3 Action Open Internet Explorer (IE) Select Tools menu Click Internet Option from drop down. All rights reserved. 5 Non-Sysco Computer/Non-network, Continued SIU Access Follow the steps in the table below to access SIU: Step Action 1 Navigate to http://siu.sysco.com 2 Use the following when accessing: If… Then… using a Sysco PC or laptop user will automatically be logged on to SIU using a non Sysco PC or user will be prompted with a dialog laptop (i.e. home, school, box library computer) If… USA associate Then… Enter NA\network ID in the User Name field. Canada Enter CA\network ID associate in the User Name field. Enter network password in Password Field. Click OK. TIP: Password is the same used to log into Sysco computer. Additional Notes 8/2/2012 Learners do not need a VPN connection to Sysco’s network. If using VPN and experience difficulty, deactivate browser proxy setting and attempt to access again.
