These symptoms might even occur in a roaming profile scenario. Cause This has nothing to do with how Immidio Flex Profiles Advanced exports files but happens when the Microsoft Office Outlook Custom Installation Wizard is used to create a custom.prf file. This file is used to automatically configure Microsoft Outlook in a Microsoft Exchange environment. When logging in at a new infrastructure with new configured servers the first run key of a user is different from the old environment. When Microsoft Outlook starts it thinks that the user is a new users and starts the first run including importing the settings from custom.prf. Outlook then creates an new mail profile with the settings provided by custom.prf but without the user’s personal settings which were previously configured. Just rename OverwriteProfile=Yes to OverwriteProfile=No Immidio Flex Profiles Advanced Edition – © 2010 Immidio Author: R.
