How-To Re-Register Online www.gshnj.org If you are new to on-line registration and have not created a LOGIN STEP 1 Find Name Note* Because our system creates a unique match between your member name and your record in our database, these steps must be completed for each adult and girl individually. Go to the JOIN button on our home page Click on the Current Members button Click on the green Current and Past Members button • Anyone who has been in a troop, is a parent or guardian of a registered girl, attended our Council’s day or resident camp, or participated in one of our Girl Scout programs should be in our system as a Current Member • Members will be asked to provide First name, Last Name and email address • Girl – girl’s first name, last name and email address that was provided for previous registration year • Adult – adult’s first name, last name and email address that was provided for previous registration year *** If you receive a “Customer Not Found” message, you must contact the help desk. Do not continue to try and enter the system or create a NEW customer. helpdesk@gshnj.org , or 908-518-4400 option 1 (twice) M-F 9:00 to 5:00, closed when the Council Service Centers are closed STEP 2 Create Account You will receive an email in your Inbox (check your spam/junk mail folder) from “Admin”, subject “Your Girl Scout Account” Follow the link in this email to create a user name & password – this is your future login, save it • User Name must be different for every family member • Password needs to be at least 7 characters and include both letters and numbers • Family members may use the same password • You will be asked to provide an answer to a security question A message will appear “The web account has been successfully created.” 4/10/13 STEP 3 Get Re-Registered Click on the member’s name in white letters on the upper right cornerof the screen Member’s account information will appear on the screen “Welcome to your Account” if the Membership Info box on the left states: Renew for 1 year Click on Renew for 1 year/ Select ADD on next screen If the Membership Info box on the left states: Join Now Carefully select Membership year • Selection 2013 covers membership from 10/1/2012 to 9/30/2013 • Selection 2014 covers membership from 10/1/2013 to 9/30/2014 • Click on ADD TO CART and then CHECKOUT You will see the screen titled “Customer Profile” Check that the membership information is accurate and make necessary changes Required fields* Girls: *Parent/Guardian information (drop down box), complete information on all listed guardians; * School (to update a school, click the Add/Change button – Type the School Name or partial school name – click Search button – click on the school name) Click on the SAVE button at bottom of the screen to continue STEP 4 Pay by Credit Card Use your credit card to pay After payment is made an Order Summary with an order number appears in a Payment Information Box You will receive an email confirmation from noreply@uapps.net with the subject “Girl Scouts – Girl Membership Confirmation” (SAVE) This is your proof of registration and it must be submitted to your troop leader, by paper or email. • MasterCard, Visa and Discover are accepted • Adult annual membership fee is $15.00 • Girl annual membership fee and Council fee totals $30.00 • Donations can be made with your registration • Click on My Account in the upper left menu. Click log out • After 10/1 your membership card can be printed from My Account” Congratulations! You are done. Glad to have you back with GSHNJ!
