How to connect Intuos Creative Stylus to supported apps? Version 1.1 – 17th September 2013 The very first thing - enable Bluetooth in iOS Settings! To assist palm rejection turn off multitasking gestures in iOS “Settings > General > Multitasking Gestures” Intuos Creative Stylus must be connected to each app individually, since the power saving technology Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy does not allow for other pairing on iOS. Unfortunately each app has a different way how to connect to an active stylus like the Intuos Creative Stylus. This list shows how. Supported apps: Bamboo Paper Sketchbook Pro Sketchbook Procreate ArtRage ibisPaint X Inkist Ink Zen Brush Bamboo Paper 1. 2. 3. 4. Open app Tap on on „i“ symbol in bottom menu Tap on “Creative Stylus” Follow instructions Sketchbook/Sketchbook Pro 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Open app Open image in „edit“ mode Tap on „i“ symbol in top menu Tap on “Preferences” Select “Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus” in drop down menu from “3rd Party Pen Connection” 6. Press side switch on ICS to start pairing – LED starts blinking in blue 7. Once the LED stays blue for two seconds the ICS is correctly paired with the app Procreate 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Open app Open image Tap on tool symbol in top menu Tap on “Devices” Select “Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus” in list Press side switch on ICS to start pairing – LED starts blinking in blue Once the LED stays blue for two seconds the ICS is correctly paired with the app. A small message box confirms “Connected”. 8. Open app Open image in „edit“ mode Tap on left tool in bottom menu Tap on “Configuration” symbol Tap on “Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus” in Digital Stylus list Once the LED stays blue for two seconds the ICS is correctly paired with the app. The app confirms with “Connected…: Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus”. 7. Open app Tap on „Stylus Settings” symbol in left menu Switch on “Wacom Intuos” in “Manufacturer Settings” Once the LED stays blue for two seconds the ICS is correctly paired with the app. The app confirms with a red dot below the „Stylus Settings” symbol in left menu 5. Open app Open image Tap on „i“ symbol in bottom menu Tap on “3rd Party Pen Connection” Tap on “Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus” in list. Once the LED stays blue for two seconds the ICS is correctly paired with the app Zen Brush 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. - Open app Tap on „send“ symbol in menu Tap on “External Accessories” in list Tap on “Wacom Stylus Settings” in list. Enable “Use Wacom Stylus” Once the LED stays blue for two seconds the ICS is correctly paired with the app. “Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus” appears in the field “Stylus Name”. Buttons settings can be changed and palm rejection can be enabled. End of document -
