Как установить мой принтер используя Edimax
принт-сервер для Windows Vista

Эта инструкция поможет вам установить сетевой принтер.
Здесь мы показали настройку для принтера HP LaserJet 1100.
Пожалуйста, выберите свою модель во время установки.using Edimax

Step by Step:
Step 1 : Hardware installation
(1.1) Connect the printer to the P2 USB jack using a USB cable.
(1.2) Connect your Windows Vista PC (We presume in this guide that
the IP address of your Vista PC is 192.168.2.x where the x is the
number from 3 to .254) to the LAN port using a network cable.
(1.3) Power on the PS-3207U (or PS-3205U), the printer and the Vista
PC.
Step 2 : Click Start and then Control Panel. Locate the Printers icon.
Click the Add A Printer icon (as shown in the Figure-2).
Step 3 : Click “ Start a local printer”.
Step 4 : Click “ Create New port” , and select “Standard TCP/IP Port”
for the port type. Click “Next”.
Step 5 : Choose “TCP/IP Device” in the drop-down menu of “Device
Type”. Enter the IP address of the print server, 192.168.2.2.
(This is the default IP addres of the Edimax print server) in the
“Hostname or IP address” field. The “Port Name” filed is just for
reference purpose. You could enter whatever you prefer.
Step 6 : Windows Vista is now trying to detect the printer.
Step 7 : Click the “Custom” and the “Settings” button.
Step 8 : Click the “LPR” button. Enter “ p2 “.
Step 9 : Click “Next” to move on.
Step 10 : Windows Vista will now attempt to detect and install the
printer driver. You will be prompted to select a printer from a
list of available printer drivers.
Step 11 : Select your printer model and click “Next”.
Step 12 : You will be prompted to enter the printer name. Enter your
preferred name or just leave the default name unchanged.
Click “Next”.
Step 13 : Click “Print a test page” button, and let’s see whether the the
paper is printed proplerly.
