written in the field provided on this
brochure and dropped off at any
Vehicle Inspection Station or District
Office, or mailed to the address list on
the back.
What if you don’t know the employee’s
name?
Your comments about Commercial Vehicle
Enforcement:
If you don’t know the employee’s
name, simply write a letter to the Chief
Transport Officer setting out the date,
time, and circumstances leading to
your compliment. Efforts will be made
to identify the employee involved.

A written compliment will be viewed by
all persons in the employee’s chain of
command and will be attached to the
employee’s personnel file. In addition,
it may be reprinted in a departmental
monthly newsletter.
