How to submit your compliment You may express your compliment in writing, by phone, or in person. Addresses and phone numbers of the Chief Transport Officer and Regional Offices are provided on the back of this pamphlet. Your comments may be written in the field provided on this brochure and dropped off at any Vehicle Inspection Station or District Office, or mailed to the address list on the back. What if you don’t know the employee’s name? Your comments about Commercial Vehicle Enforcement: If you don’t know the employee’s name, simply write a letter to the Chief Transport Officer setting out the date, time, and circumstances leading to your compliment. Efforts will be made to identify the employee involved. Name: What will happen to your compliment? A written compliment will be viewed by all persons in the employee’s chain of command and will be attached to the employee’s personnel file.
