1 CPE Hour for ISACA Members
Ms. Jenny Lam
Executive Manager, Audit
Hong Kong Jockey Club
Abstract
Many companies have different corporate functions in managing risks and compliance, and these risk and compliance
management processes are most often operated in silos. In addition to the potential risks of costly and inefficiency,
effectiveness could also be affected due to disjoin or inconsistency in definitions or assessment criteria. Couple with the
heightened regulatory requirements and sophisticated threats in both external and internal environments, many companies are
exploring ways to enhance their risk and compliance management capability through more effective integration of these
processes and GRC solution implementation. In this session, we will explore how Internal Audit, having a solid role in corporate
governance, can capitalize this opportunity to not just enhance audit effectiveness but to improve alignment with other
corporate governance functions.
