WHAT IS RECRUITMENT?
The recruitment industry is one of the fastest growing sectors in global business, and is
reported to be worth a whopping £24 billion in the UK alone! As a result, the opportunities are truly endless for hardworking and determined individuals who want to embark
on a challenging and rewarding career. Most smart organisations will recognise that
employees are the most valuable asset within their business and are absolutely paramount to future and sustained success. In order to achieve this success, top talent
must be retained and of course attracted, that’s where you come in. By becoming a researcher at Oasis HR you are given the freedom to help shape the way organisations
are run by sourcing the very best candidates on the market and ‘selling’ them into your
client’s businesses.
CONSULTING ON BEHALF OF THE BUSINESS
Joining our graduate scheme, you would be initially coming on board as a Researcher
and would be responsible for working in partnership with the consultants, who manage
the relationship we have with our clients. Together, you will ensure that the needs of
both clients and candidates are met in a professional manner. It’s absolutely our goal
to foster long term relationships at all levels and build an excellent reputation, through
our expertise, quality service and personable approach. Our staff, and you, will be
trusted to advise candidates on their future career steps and of course on the most vital part of our client’s organisation - their workforce.
OUR BUSINESS
So, who are we and what do we do? Oasis HR is a multi-award winning specialist Recruitment
Consultancy focussing on the Human Resources sector. We source the industry’s leading HR
professionals for some of the biggest brands in the market, from Apple and Amazon, to Harrods and
the BBC.
We also founded the HR Think Tank Series, the UK’s largest face to face networking group for
senior strategic HR professionals. This events portfolio encompasses the facilitation of round table
discussions, giving us a unique insight into the market and access to some awesome clients and
amazing candidates.

candidates. You need to be intelligent and articulate as from day one you’ll be dealing with
some of the HR market’s leading professionals.

Our approach is quality not quantity – but as with all jobs in recruitment, the more effort you
put in, the better the financial reward!
As well as a very competitive commission structure we also have a quarterly team target,
which if achieved you can expect to be part of an adventurous day out (think ‘Indoor Surfing’
or ‘Base Jumping’ – not for the feint-hearted!), as well as a monthly prize for the best
personal achievement.
GRADUATE RESEARCHER – THE JOB ROLE
As a Researcher, your primary duty will be to source the best candidates for a specific role. We do this
by a variety of methods, and no day is ever the same!
Your role will include:







Working with our team of consultants to understand clients requirements and develop a sourcing strategy
Writing and posting job adverts
Searching our in-house database for existing candidates
Calling new or existing candidates to determine their current situation, and suitability for your
requirement
Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates and clients
Attending networking events and client meetings (this will involve travel to Central London)
Interviewing candidates.
GRADUATE RESEARCHER – KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE









Educated to degree-calibre, with a 2.1 or above
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Computer literate, including Word and Excel
Capacity to build strong relationships with an array of professionals in the HR space
The confidence to network effectively – both face to face at events, and through Social Media
platforms such as LinkedIn
The ability to work independently, or as part of a close-knit team
Good attention to detail, with excellent spelling and grammar
A professional and friendly attitude
And most importantly, a good sense of humour!
