garden and liberates you from fastidious
and tiresome handling of hoses.
• The quantities of distributed water are
adapted to each plant type. You save
time and water.

How did we select your sprinklers ?
Fixed stream
We selected your sprinklers based
on radius and flow
Rotating stream
Your lawn will always receive the same amount of water regardless of the
sprinkler types used. To obtain an uniform watering, it is imperative that
the sprinkler streams overlap. The ideal distance between two sprinklers
is equal to their radius. On our diagram we have 3 zones to water: 1 zone
(red) with sides of less than 5 m where we will use fixed stream sprinklers :
Spray heads. Then 2 zones (green and blue) with sides of more than 5 m where
we will use rotating stream sprinklers: Rotors.
2 Why several watering circuits ?
If the simultaneous operation
of an entire installation requires
a flow of 9 m3/h:
And the water
meter (or the
watering pump)
provides only
3 m3/h :
you will have to divide the required
flow into three parts :
We therefore create three circuits , each one separately operated by an electric valve.
The three electric valves will operate sequentially one after another.
CALCULATION OF THE NUMBER OF WATERING CIRCUITS
Total flow by product category divided by available flow = number of circuits.
Do not mix spray heads with fixed streams and rotors or impacts with rotating streams on the same
circuit. They have different application rates and run times :
• Spray heads : 7 to 9 min/day
• Rotors : 20 to 30 min/day

How did we select your controller ?
• The controller operates the electric valves
which feed each circuit separately.
Controller
• For an underground watering system you
have the choice between a 230v powered
controller or a battery powered controller (9V).
Electric-valves
• For a drip or a surface irrigation system,
you can use faucet-attached battery powered
controllers (2 X 1.5V).

• The electric valves are connected to the controller with multi-conductor
cable (1 per valve + 1 common) and with electrical connectors (type DBM,
DBY, KING...)
4 How to determine the watering run time ?
Water requirements for a lawn, during the summer, are an average of 6 litres
per square meter per day.
For a state-of-the-art installation, a sprinkler system (rotors) provides approximately
12 litres per hour per square meter. A spray head system with fixed streams
provides around 40 litres per hour per square meter.
Daily needs: 6 litres
With spray heads:
40 litres/hour
With rotors:
12 litres/hour
The run time is:
6 litres / m2

SPRAY HEADS
Pop-up Spray heads: 1800 and Uni-Spray Series.
Spray heads are recommended for small size turf areas, flower beds
and shrubs. Specially designed for ranges up to 5,5m. Fixed streams.
Wide choice of matched precipitation rate nozzles.
Variable arc nozzles (VAN) are available.
ROTORS /IMPACTS
3500 Series: The 3500 Series is an easy to use rotor for flows up to 10,7m.
Adjustment of the watering arc from the top with a simple flat blade
screwdriver. Delivered with tree of 6 Rain curtain nozzles.
5000 Plus Series: The 5000 Plus rotor range is used for residential
applications for a radius up to 15,2 m.
Adjustement of the watering arc from the top with a simple flat blade
screwdriver. Delivered with Rain Curtain (standard Angle/low Angle)
nozzles.
Maxi-Paw: Underground full or part circle impact sprinkler.
Designed for small and medium sized residential irrigation systems,
radius up to 13,7m. Specially designed to work with low pressure
and dirty water.

VALVES
DV/JTV VALVE Series : This economical electric valve is ideal for
small size residential installations. Globe valve configuration.
Easy to open for cleaning. Model with 24V solenoid (230V powered
controller) or 9V solenoid (battery powered controller).
LFV low flow valves: This electric valve has been specifically
designed for drip watering systems and functions even with very low
flows.
CONTROLLERS
Controllers powered by 230 V: Electronic controllers are designed
for automatic watering of lawns or drip watering of shrubbery
and hedges. Programming: options: Cycle, start time, run time, seasonal
adjustment. Delivered with a 24V transformer.
Battery powered WP Series controller (9V): Battery operated controller
allows the watering automation of the sites without power.
Waterproof, can be installed indoor or outdoor.
Possibilities of programming: frequency, hour, duration, seasonal
adjustment. Functions with 9V batteries.
Faucet-attached battery powered timer: This timer automates drip
watering systems. Adjustable cycle. Several starts possible per day.
Adjustable duration of watering. Operates with 1,5V(LR 06) batteries.
ACCESSORIES
Rain Sensor/Rain Check: In the event of rain, automatically prevents
a superfluous watering cycle.
Electrical cable: Connects the controller to the electric valves.
PE Insulation. Low power (24V). Color coded to facilitate identification.
Electrical connections: DBM/ DBY/King allow the waterproof
connection of the controller to the electric valves.
Valve boxes: Provide easy access to electric or manual valves
& protect them on a long term basis.
Flexible pipe and fittings: To connect the sprinklers to a saddle
tee mounted on the pipe.
PE tubing, compression fittings, saddle tees (diameter 20, 25,32,40...).
PVC manifolds: For connection to electric-valves.
MICRO-IRRIGATION
Inline pressure compensating emitter tubing: (diameter 16mm).
Ideal for the watering of all row type vegetation
(hedges, trees, shrubs). Flow 2.2l/h.
Pressure regulators, filters, Control zone start-up kit: Ideal for
the automatic watering of drip zones.

Install or have installed by a professional,
your underground watering system
1. Mark the locations of the sprinklers 2. Trench (30 cm minimum) and
according to the indications on the plan.
3. Place the fittings, the valves,
the valve boxes.
5. Bore the pipes and then bolt on
the saddle tees.
then unroll the pipes.

Mount the fittings, the valves, and
connect the pipes.
6.
Mount the SP-100, then purge the
system.

7. Connect the electric valves
to the electric cable using waterproof
connectors.
9. Install your micro–irrigation
Control zone start-up kit.
8. Position the sprinklers.

Unroll the dripline and connect
all the elements of your micro-irrigation
