MALLORCA ISLAND DESCRIPTION
Because of its strategic situation in the Western Mediterranean, this island has
drawn sustenance from all Mediterranean cultures. Although its first inhabitants,
the Romans and Muslims, left few remains, the main streets of the city centre of
Palma still follow, to a large extent, the labyrinthine structure laid down over a
millennium ago by the Romans. In the old town, the past is present and future. It
is one of the best-preserved historical city centers in Europe. Losing oneself in the
labyrinth of alleyways can lead to discoveries, such as a traditional cafés,
beautiful churches or the elegant patios of stately homes.
Without a shadow of a doubt, Mallorca responds to the most diverse wishes with
an excellent offer. One loves the interior of Mallorca, because of its idyllic tranquil
corners and the pleasant urban, cosmopolitan atmosphere of Palma. It is a great
place to practice a little cycle-tourism, admire the Tramuntana mountain range,
play golf, go sailing, enjoy the lively beaches and live the splendid night life.
On this island, located at just 2½ hour flight from most European major capitals,
are all sorts of cuttingedge facilities for organizing events. If we add to this, the
excellent weather conditions, a superb quality of life and a rich historic and
natural heritage, the island has all the advantages for making your event a
success. Mallorca is a business resort where work and leisure are combined to
perfection.

MALLORCA AIRPORT CONNECTIONS
The International Sant Joan Airport is located 8 km (5.0 mi)
east of Palma de Mallorca, adjacent to the village of
Can Pastilla. Previously known as Son Sant Joan Airport or
Aeropuerto de Son Sant Joan, it is the third largest airport
in Spain, after Madrid's Barajas Airport and Barcelona
Airport. During the summer months it is one of the busiest
airports in Europe. The airport is a hub for German carrier
Air Berlin.
Sant Joan Airport occupies an area of 6.3 km2 (2.4 sq mi).
Due to rapid growth of passenger numbers, additional
infrastructure was added to the two terminals A (1965)
and B (1972). This main terminal was designed by local
architect Pere Nicolau Bonet and was officially opened
on 12 April 1997. The airport now consists of four gate
areas: Terminal A is mostly used for domestic flights, while
Terminals B, C and D are for international traffic.
The airport can handle 25 million passengers per year,
with a capacity to dispatch 12,000 passengers per hour.
Future plans include an increase of the passenger
capacity to 38 million passengers in 2015.
PALMA DE MALLORCA - ARRIVAL
The guests arrive at Palma de Mallorca airport and on the
basis of the passenger’s arrivals list you provide us; we will

ARRIVAL DAY
PALMA CITY TOUR
As for the first hours in the city and the island, our suggestion is to do a
relaxed yet interesting tour of the City of Palma with the official guide, so
that the group can get a good perception of their location in a relaxed
way.
Being Palma the capital of the Balearic Islands, it has a cosmopolitan look,
with many shops, restaurants, and other activities for visitors to enjoy.
The first stop will be at Bellver castle, the only circular shaped Gothic
structure on the island and a lovely panoramic view of the city.
The group will then head towards Palma's Cathedral, constructed between
the 13th and 14th centuries and one of the finest examples of pure Gothic
architecture on the continent.
Time then to have a stroll around the narrow streets of the old town while
admiring some really interesting interior patios (inner courtyards), and visit
the Almudaina Palace, a monument which was converted from an Arab
fortress and is used nowadays as the office of the royal Spanish family.
Pre Dinner cocktail followed by dinner in a local restaurant in the old town
Always a success with the most demanding groups, this WOW private
Palace (which has been converted into a very special cocktail bar) is
our suggestion for a unique pre-dinner cocktail.
ARRIVAL DAY
Dating back to the XVII century, it is located in the old town, near the
cathedral and right next door to the suggested tapas restaurant. The
cocktail Palace is beautifully decorated with flowers, fruit and candles.
The upper floor has all the traditional furniture of the old palace and
clients can wonder around and get an idea on how a noble Mallorcan
family lived. The Palace also has a beautiful inner courtyard ideal for
tasting a delicious cocktail. The palace is extremely traditional and at
the same time very elegant and we can book it in exclusivity for the
group from 7.00 to 8.00pm.
After the cocktail, we suggest to have a traditional Spanish tapas dinner
at the local restaurant, situated as well in the fisherman ‘s quarter, very
near to Palma’s Cathedral and the fishing port and it is specialized in
Spanish “tapas” and local cuisine.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious tapas and main local
dishes as well as an extensive wine list and the service and the
presentation of the dishes is excellent.
The restaurant has two floors and it is decorated in a very rustic and local
style. Depending on the size of the group, they could have the top floor
in exclusivity.
4x4 or cabrio jeep rally, followed by picnic lunch
in the middle of the vineyards
An exciting way to get to know the real Mallorca is
organizing a 4x4 or cabrio safari rally around the coast side
and inner country side of the island. Depending on the
vehicles availability and the client’s preferences, we will use
4x4, cabrios or a combination of both.
DAY TWO
Clients will meet at the lobby of the hotel and after a
briefing, they will get the vehicles (4 pax per car) and each
team will receive a road book, a map, directions on where
they have to go and a questionnaire that they have to
answer during the activity.
There will be some stops along the way where the teams will
have to do certain tasks (active games or artistic games)
and they will collect points at each stop. At the end of the
activity, the team who has more points will be the winner.
The tour will take the group through coastal and secondary
roads and they will be able to visit different local villages
and impressive locations along the way.
Guest will enjoy a fantastic route
through the coastal as well as the
main small stoned towns of the
island. They will have the opportunity
to try different local wines and enjoy
of an informal picninc lunch in the
vineyards.
DAY TWO
Wine Tasting and Pic-nic in a Vineyard… A different
way of exploring the insights!
This beautiful winery is located in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Sierra de
Tramuntana. Even centuries ago wines were cultivated in this valley, and then
shipped by boats from Port d’ Andratx to France. Unfortunately, in 1910 wine
production was lost on the island for many decades due to the effect of the
filoxera insect. In 1985, the winery was founded and wine production was brought
back to the valley. Since then, award winning wines have been produced from
local and international grape varieties like Prensal Blanc, Chardonnay and
Sauvignon Blanc for the white wines and Manto Negro, Callet, Merlot, Cabernet
Sauvignon and Shiraz for the red wines.
Hidden amongst the Tramuntana Mountains in the middle of its charm and
roughness, we can find this amazing venue.
Here, the group will park the cars, guests are welcomed in front of the winery in
order to do a full visit of the production area and wine cellar with an expert on the
field, who will be answering all their questions and doublts. Later on there is a
tasting of a furthermore 2 wines.
Every fourth guest is then provided with a beautifully presented picnic basket and
takes it to enjoy of local products into the vineyards. Tables and benches are
prepared and guests enjoy the picnic overlooking stunning views onto the
vineyards and valley.
DAY TWO
DINNER AT CHILL-OUT BEACH CLUB
This superb beach club is located directly on the beach of Can
Pere Antoni, Palma’s sandy beach, right next to Palma’s
promenade.
The restaurant is surrounded by enormous windows and
terraces, so the views to the cathedral, the old town, the
harbour and the beach are absolutely magnificent.
The venue is decorated in a chill-out atmosphere with oriental
touches of wood and fire, giving the place a very special
charm.
They offer succulent local and Mediterranean dishes and their
drink list is very good offering a great selection of the best wines.
As well as the restaurant, there is also a trendy lounge-bar where
it is possible to enjoy a good cocktail while listening to chill-out
music in the background.
DAY THREE
SAILING REGATTA IN THE BAY OF PALMA
Sailing is one of the sports where good team work is essential.
The aim is to work in the different business areas:

different duties onboard. The Aim is to improve business skills through

briefing about sailing, manoeuvring, safety onboard and the Regatta field

conditions the regatta field will be either south west or south east of Palma
Bay.
11:00 hrs – Race start

DAY THREE
Lunch at Palma’s Yacht Club
This restaurant is found on the first floor of the Real Club Náutico in the Bay of Palma.
From this privileged position the restaurant counts with splendid views of the Port, the yachts
and the Paseo Marítimo.
Recently refurbished in a light, minimalist style, it offers a modern Mediterranean cuisine. There
are also some popular traditional dishes on the menu such as rice and fish dishes. An ideal
meeting place for any occasion.
The atmosphere is quite elegant and exclusive and the cuisine, presentations of their dishes
and service they deliver is excellent.

DAY THREE
Farewell dinner in a Country Manor House
This spectacular Finca, which is privately owned by a noble family, dates
from the 13th century and has been completely refurbished keeping its
original style. The venue consists of 3 separate buildings, the main house,
all made from stone with a beautiful inner courtyard and two separate
and larger buildings beautifully decorated. The front house terrace offers
amazing views of the city and the countryside.
The beautiful and peaceful inner courtyard was the heart if agricultural
life on the farm and the means of access to all of the buildings. The 100
year old trees offer shade in the summer and allows the sunlight to filter in
the winter. The courtyard is also decorated with typical Majorcan plants,
making it a very pleasing place at the venue and an incomparable
setting for a very special welcome cocktail.
Following the cocktail, we will have a very special dinner in one of the
beautiful rooms, which are elegantly decorated.
This venue is located at just 20 km from Palma and the quality and
presentation of their dishes and the elegance of the venue are just
superb.
At the end of the dinner our guests will enjoy a private Flamenco Show.
OPTIONAL EXCURSION: VALLDEMOSSA TOWN
DAY FOUR
For this last morning, we propose as an optional excursion one of the “must
see” towns in the island: Valldemossa.
The group will leave the hotel and visit the beautiful and peaceful village of
Valldemossa, which is one of the most photographed locations in Mallorca.
The village has picturesque tree-lined streets, old stone houses and plush new
villas and the group will be given some free time to stroll around the village.
They will then visit the Carthusian Monastery, where composer Frederic Chopin
and his lover George Sand spent their ‘winter of discontent’ back in the year
1838. The rooms they occupied are now a museum and we will find some
original manuscripts and a draft of Sand´s famous book “A Winter in Majorca”.
After this visit, the group will enter the Palace of the King Sancho, where they
will listen to a short piano concert in memory of this famous composer.
Finally, and before returning to the hotel, there will be a a final stop at Na
Foradada, where the views of the sea and the cliffs is just breathtaking.
GOODBYE PALMA
DAY FOUR
Two hours and a half before flight departure transfer to Seville internation Airport and flight back home.
