Warranty Statement
The Lumitex Mytilux downlight range is warranted to be free from defects in
material and workmanship and to operate from the date of installation (or date of
manufacture if installation date is not known or available) for a period of 5 (Five)
years subject to the terms and conditions below. If the product fails to operate for
the warranty period, Lumitex will provide a free replacement product. Any costs
associated with the removal or installation of the product are the user's
responsibility. The benefits provided to the consumer by this warranty are in
addition to other rights and remedies available to the consumer under the law.

Warranty terms and conditions:
1) Proof of Purchase must be provided.
2) After contacting Lumitex Limited and receiving a return authorization number,
the user shall promptly return the product at the user's expense to Lumitex Limited
after receiving instructions as to if, when and where to send.

3) Lumitex Limited reserves the right to examine all failed products and reserves
the right to be the sole judge as to whether the products are defective and covered
under this warranty.
4) Due to the rapidly changing technology environment surrounding LED Lighting,
Lumitex Limited reserves the right to replace products with later model upgraded
equivalents where in some cases appearance may differ slightly from the original.
5) Failure to observe correct installation practices as detailed within this manual
may void the warranty.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a
major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable
loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced
if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to
a major failure.

solution. A five year Warranty applies to this product range.
You have chosen a quality product that has been assembled with carefully
selected components to create a safe, high performance light source with
exceptional dimming performance capability.

This LED downlight, when installed according to the
manufacturer's instructions below, complies with
AS/NZS 3000:2007 Amendment 2, specifically including
Clause 4.5.2.3.1 (i) (A+B)

Mytilux incorporates an extendable arm to suspend the driver electronics
above your home’s insulation. This serves two purposes: to facilitate simple
installation from within the room, while also ensuring free air circulation
around the driver that will assist to further extend its operating life.
Extensive testing supported by accredited laboratory reports allow Mytilux
to be installed without a heat shield. This will save you the purchase cost
of, as well as the labour, to install the heat shield.

Suitability for use: "Indoors." (Or, suitably protected from weather in outdoor living areas)
Testing Standard: This product has been tested to AS/NZS 60598.2.2:2001
and AS/NZS 60598.1:2013, verifying the luminaire will not exceed 90°C under
normal conditions when in contact with timber or covered with insulation as
shown in the diagram and installed according to the installation instructions
below. No heat shield is required.

Insulation contacting the fixture may result in an elevated temperature of the heatsink
but this does not affect the Warranty of the product nor will it exceed the safe operating
temperature of the luminaire.

position the driver to avoid obstructions and insulation in the roof space.
