Specifications Reference Manual Preface This is the MASvideo DVR Specifications Reference Manual. This document details the specifications for specific digital video recorders (DVRs) compatible with all MASvideo versions. There is also information describing how to contact technical support if you have questions or concerns. To use this document effectively, you should have the following minimum qualifications: • • a basic knowledge of MASterMind Monitoring; and a basic knowledge of video integration. The most current versions of this and related documentation may be found on MAStech. Conventions used in this document The following conventions are used in this document: Bold Menu items and buttons. Italic Emphasis of an instruction or point; special terms. File names, path names, windows, panes, tabs, fields, variables, and other GUI elements. Titles of books and various documents. Blue italic (Electronic version.) Hyperlinks to cross-references, related topics, and URL addresses. Monospace Text that displays on the computer screen. Programming or coding sequences. Safety terms and symbols These terms may appear in this manual: CAUTION: Cautions identify important conditions or practices that may have serious implications that affect how the software functions. 1 2 MASvideo DVR Specifications Reference Manual Introduction This document provides the specifications for specific digital video recorders (DVRs) compatible with the following MASvideo versions: • • • • MASvideo (versions 3.x and 4.x) MASvideo API (version 3.x and 4.x) MASvideoN (versions 2.x) MASvideo Classic (versions 1.x) MASvideo (3.x and 4.x) This section lists all MASvideo DVR specifications entered in the Site Options window for MASvideo by DVR name. For more information, see Setting up video integration on page 3 of the MASvideo Reference Manual. MASterMind supports integration of UTC DVRs and continuously updates the plug-in, which provides this support (see Interlogix (HAL supported UTC devices) on page 4). New hardware from other vendors may require updated SDKs. Accutrack SDK Rev: 1.0.2952.17944 Supported operating sytems: Windows XP x86 Table 1. MAS Video Username DVR username, if required Entering 0,1,1 in the MASvideo Connect Option field sets the audio channels to 1, 1 (output, input). The MASvideo Connect Option for Bosch devices is not mandatory but this option speeds up the connection process and success rate. We recommend you leave this field blank if you do not know the exact device type. Setting the video port to 0 lets the SDK and DVR negotiate usage of available ports. In case the video stream freezes after starting the playback, disable SmoothReverse by setting the disableSmoothReverse option to true in the MASvideoBoschPlugin.xml file. This also disables frame forward/reverse and smooth reverse playback. This integration requires the Bosch SDK to be installed.
