MARK YOUR CALENDAR
PRINCIPAL POST
Great job everyone! You deserve a day off, how about
Monday. Please remember there is no school
Monday – Columbus Day. There will be no After
School Care on Monday.
Speaking of Mondays, this past Monday was a great
Picture Day. We started our day together in prayer at
an all-school Mass in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary,
and everyone looked wonderful as we posed for school
pictures throughout the day. Picture retake day is
scheduled for November 11.
We will be making an effort the next two weeks to
gather any missing paperwork from the beginning of
the year, including any missing EdChoice forms. If you
have forms that need to be returned, please do so
asap!
Looking ahead to the end of October, we will be
celebrating Halloween this year with a school costume
parade and classroom parties. October 31 will be the
last Friday of the month, as well as the last day of the
first quarter, therefore a Spirit Day. Students will be out
of uniform if they choose to participate with a prayer
&/or $1 donation to charity. Students will not wear
costumes to school. They should bring their
costumes with them – they will have time to change
before the parade. We will need several parents to
volunteer in the classrooms that day. And parents,
grandparents and siblings are encouraged to come
watch the parade! It is sure to be a fantastic time.

ATTACHED FLYERS
Continued from page 1
Just a few quick reminders from past newsletters:
 Please do not pop-in unannounced to speak to
a teacher – instead ask for an appointment!
The same expectation applies to after school
in the parking lot.
 You must call the office to report an
absence or send a handwritten note in
advance. The same expectation applies to
early dismissals!
 If your child gets sick (throws up) during the
school day, they will need to be picked up and
stay home until they have been well for 24
hours.
 Students with cell phones must turn them off
and put them away during the school day. You
should not be receiving calls or texts from
your child during the day. We will call you
and/or put your child on the phone ifwe need
to contact you for any reason.
 If your child has forgotten something for
school, please do not bring it to them. Let this
be a learning experience for them. However, if
you do drop off anything at school, bring it
directly to the office. We will keep it here for
your child until they come to retrieve it.

tradition, and deepen their own personal faith! All
students are expected to be attentive and respectful
during this time.
