Our program encourages cooperative play, basic learning, crafts, games, singing and listening skills, field trips, special visitors and so much more for three and four year old children in the Outlook area. Program runs late September to the end of May. It follows the Sun West School Division calendar for holidays/breaks. We carry on many activities over the year. There is also a pool table available for use. Although this information may seem bleak, the stress on the bridge can certainly be alleviated. We are working hard to pursue different avenues of funding through the government and the National Trails Coalition. Free child car seat safety clinics are held in June. Influenza Immunization clinics are offered beginning in October of each year. Prenatal and breastfeeding classes (held during the evening) are also offered through Heartland Health Region. All prenatal classes are held on Saturdays from 9:00 – 4:30 pm. In the beginning there was less than 100 volunteer groups receiving lottery proceeds. That has changed to well over 12,000 sport, culture, recreation and community groups depending on Saskatchewan Lotteries for base funding.
