The Subsea Excavation Specialists TwinProp Specification Sheet The KDM Marine TwinProp subsea excavation system is the next generation, state of the art development of the widely proven Mass Flow Excavation technique. Counter-rotating propellers are used to produce two high volume columns of water which can be adjusted to any angle to best suit the application. The design and multiple configurations of the KDM TwinProp make it the most versatile MFE tool in the world. Applications The TwinProp is deployed using a crane or A-Frame and is powered via high pressure hoses. Clump weights or tugger wires are used to orientate and stabilize the tool whilst it is operational.
