CHANGES TO SERVICES
Note: Due to increases in the volumes of hard
waste put out for collection in recent years,
the collection will now run over 8 weeks.
Rubbish in both Area 2 and Area 4 will be
collected over a 2 week period.

HARD WASTE
Collection
To ensure the maximum amount of hard waste is
recycled, the City is changing the way it is collected.
Different trucks will now be allocated to specific items.
For example, the truck collecting recyclable metals
or mattresses will be different from the general waste
collection vehicle.
Please assist us by placing bulk rubbish on your own
verge and into separate piles:
• metals • whitegoods • mattresses
• e-waste • general waste
Only six cubic metres of waste will be collected from
each residence. Waste left behind after the collection
has finished is your responsibility and must be removed
from the verge within seven days or $200 - $500 litter
infringements may be issued.
