Help Needed Zelda and Millie wish to be relieved of their Funeral Ministry. We are grateful for their many years of service! They certainly put the “heart” into Sacred Heart’s ministry of hospitality at critical times when families experience grief at the loss of a loved one. They will help to train whoever comes forward to continue this ministry. Following their example, it would be nice to have a couple people to co-chair this ministry. If you are interested, or if you can think of someone good for this ministry, please contact Zelda and/or Millie or let Father Jerry know. Feast of All Souls This year the Feast of All Souls, November 2nd, falls on a Sunday. We pray for good weather on that day so that we can celebrate Mass that Sunday in the Cemetery. Weather permitting, Mass will be at 9:00 that morning in the cemetery; we suggest that people bring their own lawn/folding chairs/blankets to sit on. We will remember at that Mass all those whose names we invite you to inscribe in the Victory Book which you will find near the baptismal font. Remember in Prayer Reminder: please notify Ruth when loved ones no longer need to be on our prayer list.
