ABOUT PACC’S IN MOTION DANCE COMPANY
This pre-professional company was started to
provide performance opportunities for talented and
gifted young dancers. We are very proud of the
accomplishments of our dance ensemble over the past
ten years and look forward to our eleventh season! They
have performed at local community venues and been
invited to dance with professional companies at The
Joyce, City Center Dance, Ailey, NYC Festival of Dance,
Madison Square Garden, DRA Benefits, Solstice In Times
Square and the International Dance Festival-NYC.
(CONTINUED)
These young dancers have been instructed by
prominent dancers and choreographers from notable
ballet, modern, jazz and hip hop companies. Our
company members take classes from our in-house
faculty, guest faculty and receive Master Classes from
renowned instructors in the field of dance on a monthly
basis. It is our hope that during our eleventh season, we
will perform more frequently and achieve a higher level
of technical and performance excellence. The ensemble
is available for performances, fundraisers and
entertainment. Scholarships are given on both a
financial and talent basis. If you have any questions
please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Reviews of IN MOTION:
“Mature choreography, formal – yet creative –
compelling to watch.” Martin Wechsler, Director of
Programming for the Joyce Theater, NYC.
“Loved it! Excellent staging, well thought out partnering
– really enjoyed….” Pam Chancey, The Pulse
Jennifer Muller, The Works had this to say about our
dancing: “Very well done – very professional”.
Christopher F. Davis, Producing Director of Dancers
Responding to AIDS recently had the following to say
about In Motion’s performance and Nikole LaChioma’s
choreography, "Paranoiattack is the perfect example of
what Bob Fosse would have done in the year 2006. It is
the exact vocabulary established by Mr. Fosse while still
looking fresh and relevant to today’s taste. I’ve danced
in 7 Broadway shows and have worked with Anne
Reinking, Chita Rivera, Ben Vereen, Chris Chadman and
the incomparable Gwen Verdon. I consider this to be
one of the most original pieces based on the Fosse
vocabulary that I have ever seen from a non professional
group."

2014-2015
In Motion Dance
Company
In Motion is composed of outstanding
dancers selected from the center's
training program, auditions and
invitation. The aim of this dance
ensemble is to provide opportunity for
these dancers to experience the creative
process of a performing organization
while refining and expanding their
technique and knowledge of the Art of
Dance.
The ensemble seeks to make available to
the community the widest range of quality
dance through lecture-demonstrations,
workshops, and school, community and
professional performances (seasons).
We wish to develop a wide repertoire
based on classical and contemporary
ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop and
world dance, in order to reach everyone.
It is our goal to give each individual a
greater appreciation and understanding of
the Art of Dance.
